REGIONAL CASTELLI ROMANI PARK - Italy

The 5th Natura in Viaggio event organised by the Lazio Region – Agenzia Regionale Parchi is dedicated to promoting nature tourism and the Parks and protected areas of Lazio in particular.

The educational tour for Tour Operators will take place from 11th to 14th October in the heart of the protected area of Castelli Romani Park. It covers an area of 12.000 hectares and is an ideal habitat for a large variety of animals and plants with its unique natural sites on both land and water, located but a few kilometres from the eternal city of Rome.

Along with the educational tour, the “Borsino” or commercial workshop will be held in Frascati on Friday 12th October with the participation of suppliers of the Castelli Romani Park and Lazio Parks.

Natura in Viaggio” is planned for all those operators that really appreciate nature tourism, slow tourism, the “Parco dei Castelli Romani” and its environs, that, apart from their intrinsic natural beauty, are also recognised for their wealth of architectural and artistic splendour, not to mention fine wines and gourmet food. “Natura in Viaggio” is thus aimed at buyers that are interested in getting to know better all that the Parks and the Protected Areas in Lazio have to offer, in order to propose more detailed and exclusive packages to their clients.

The main themes of this event are nature, the habitat, traditions and slow tourism, allowing you to get closer to nature for an experience to be lived, observed and enjoyed.
